EXPERIENCE

Víctor Marroquín Sagalés, Managing Partner at Marroquín Abogados, joined the firm in 1990 and specialises in Insolvency Law, Restructuring, M&A, and Litigation. He has developed his entire professional career at the firm since 1990.

Since 2000, he has been the Partner responsible for the Insolvency, Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department, an area in which the firm enjoys special recognition, having advised major national companies in resolving insolvency situations.

Since the entry into force of the Insolvency Act (2004) and to the present day, he has developed his practice as Insolvency Administrator in Barcelona and has been recognised as a leading professional on numerous occasions.

He has also developed his career in Business Law, providing ongoing advisory services to companies across various industries and participating in numerous Mergers and Acquisitions operations, as well as in Litigation matters.

Law Degree from the University of Barcelona (UB).

ACADEMIC AND TEACHING CONTRIBUTIONS

He has taught Insolvency Law in the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice organised annually by the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía de Barcelona (I.S.D.E.).

In 2016, he contributed to the Global Insolvency Practice Guide published by the prestigious U.S. law firm Chris Howard Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and issued by Chambers.
