It was the year 1950 when Mr. Victoriano Marroqu\u00edn Ovied<\/strong>o took the bold step of opening his own law firm in Barcelona. In a context of economic recovery, his professional journey began with advising thriving companies, practicing commercial law that would later consolidate through guidance and support to clients during the crises that emerged in the early 1970s. This led to a specialization in insolvency law that has remained a defining area of the Firm ever since.<\/p>\n

By building relationships based on trust, the client base steadily expanded and the firm grew in size with the incorporation of new professionals, always striving to maintain the closeness and personal attention that have been a hallmark of the Firm since its inception to this day.<\/p>\n

In the mid-1980s, already under the name Bufete Marroqu\u00edn<\/strong>, several of the founder\u2019s children joined the practice, marking the beginning of a new stage for the Firm. This phase culminated at the beginning of this century with a generational transition in leadership and a firm commitment to the new trends in specialization emerging within the legal sector.<\/p>\n

After decades of passionate, committed, and fruitful professional dedication under the leadership of Ignacio<\/a>, Carlos<\/a>, and V\u00edctor<\/a> Marroqu\u00edn, the Firm began a new chapter after the pandemic, now under the brand Marroqu\u00edn Abogados<\/a><\/strong>. This new stage focuses on incorporating youth and talent into the project, embracing the technological knowledge that shapes today\u2019s legal practice, and facilitating a gradual generational handover in the Firm\u2019s leadership and drive.<\/p>\n

The founder\u2019s vision and determination to offer close, transparent, and high-quality legal advice were the driving forces behind this project. Seventy-five years later, we can proudly say that the same ethics, personal approach, and quality that characterized our beginnings have remained the guiding principles steering the Firm to this day.<\/p>\n

Now, looking back, Marroqu\u00edn Abogados<\/strong><\/a> can proudly affirm that we are grateful for all that we have achieved\u2014largely because we have always remained true to the ideals on which we were founded. The team has grown with excellent professionals who share and embody these same values and ways of working. Beyond insolvency law, which has always been a key specialty of the Firm, Marroqu\u00edn Abogados has long been recognized as a multidisciplinary law firm, providing services in business, tax, civil, and labor law, among others\u2014offering comprehensive and cross-disciplinary solutions to meet the needs of our clients.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
