  • Internships or job applications: by applying, the candidate authorises MARROQUIN ABOGADOS to review the documents provided and assess information disclosed in interviews in order to evaluate their candidacy and, where appropriate, offer a position within the firm. If you do not provide this data, we will be unable to include you in relevant job or internship opportunities. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

  • Clients: to provide the requested services on the lawful basis of the existing contractual relationship. If you do not provide this data, we will be unable to render the service or provide the requested legal assistance.

3) Data Retention Periods

  • Information requests: retained solely to provide the information requested or answer your enquiry.

  • Applicants for internships or jobs: if not selected, we may keep your CV for up to 2 years to consider you for future openings, unless you state otherwise.

  • Clients: the retention period depends on the service provided. In all cases, data will be kept for the minimum necessary time and may be retained for up to:

    • 4 years for obligations in the field of Social Order (Law on Offences and Penalties in the Social Order and the General Tax Law).

    • 5 years for personal actions (Article 1964 of the Civil Code).

    • 6 years in the commercial sphere (Article 30 of the Commercial Code).

    • 10 years under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Act (Article 25).

No automated decisions or profiling are envisaged based on the personal data collected.
