Professional Experience

Carlos Marroquín Sagalés is Managing Partner of Bufete Marroquín, whose firm he joined in 1988, where he has fully developed his professional career as an economist and lawyer.

He is the partner responsible for the Tax area and has extensive experience in comprehensive advice to companies, participating in multiple processes related to taxation, both national and international, and in correct tax planning. Likewise, he has extensive knowledge of the taxation of natural persons, providing advice both in the defense of their interests before public administrations and the courts of justice and in the analysis, planning and improvement of their tax situation.

Moreover, he has intervened in numerous family wealth planning operations (generational replacement) and in business purchase and sale operations as well as business reorganization. In addition, as an economist, he is responsible for the economic and financial practice linked to the rest of the Firm’s practice areas.
